• 6–8 green cardamom
• 2 black cardamom
• 6–8 cloves
• 1–2 small sticks cinnamon
• 2 bay leaves
• 1 tsp fennel seeds
• 1 small piece mace (javitri)
• ½ nutmeg (jaiphal)
• 4–5 dried red chilies

Instructions:

1. Dry roast all spices on low heat until fragrant (2–3 minutes).
2. Let them cool completely.
3. Grind into a fine powder.
4. Store in an airtight container.
